File Transfer Options

You can copy and paste these instructions into an e-mail to
send to a customer.  Using your mouse, click next to the word "Files"
and drag the mouse down past the last word, "complete."  Right-click the text you
just covered, click "Copy", go to the e-mail you're sending, right-click in the e-mail
and click "Paste"

Files should always be zipped (PC) or stuffed and binhexed (mac) before any transference occurs.  This reduces transfer time and increases the chance your files will arrive error-free.  Below are four methods of getting files to FCL Graphics. TO and FROM refer to sending files TO FCL or picking them up FROM FCL.

E-Mail Your File (TO & FROM). FCL’s mail system can accept any file size.  However, your mail system may be limited to 4MB.  You may want to check with your system administrator to confirm before you send your file.

Transfer Files Through Your Browser (TO).  Point your web browser to http://216.119.130.237/upload/subord.asp   Use the “Browse” buttons to select your files for upload.  Once selected, click the “Upload” button to begin the transfer.  Using this method automatically notifies FCL that your files are here and require our immediate attention.

FTP Using Your Browser (TO & FROM) (Internet Explorer).  Point your web browser to ftp://fcldigitalnet:DIGITAL@ftp.fclgraphics.com

From there you can create a folder and upload your files to it.  You will need to call in advance to let us know the files are coming and then follow up with a call to let us know the transfer is complete.  If you have an issue using your browser, you may need to change the following setting.  In IE, Click “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Advanced”.  Put a check in the entry next to “Passive FTP…”  While you’re there, make sure “Enable folder view for FTP sites” is also checked.

FTP Using FTP Software (TO & FROM).  Point your ftp software to ftp.fclgraphics.com.  Use “fcldigitalnet” for username and password is "DIGITAL" (all caps).  Create a folder for your file(s).  Transfer your files as usual. You will need to call in advance to let us know the files are coming and then follow up with a call to let us know the transfer is complete.
